The Zeeland Site is the biggest and best for information about Zeeland, NL.
It was initiated by Cees Maas and Frank Viergever to provide journalistic, objectiv information about this province in the Netherlands.
During the time it was 'just a homepage' it attracted thousands of viewers from all over the world.
Cees and Frank needed more space for their projects, which resulted in a separate ZeelandSite.com
One of the new projects is the gallery.
The Zeeland Site gallery is meant as a real, although virtual gallery.
In The Zeeland Site gallery we try to let artists show their work for a certain period of time in one of our rooms just like a normal gallery. Unless the 'normal' gallery is world-famous it will not attract visitors from out of the region it is located in.
The Zeeland Site gallery is different.
It is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, with the possibility to have visitors and buyers from all over the world.
It is an unique opportunity for an artist to have an international solo exhibition.
The main gallery of The Zeeland Site will be a permanent exhibition of work, exhibited earlier in one of our galleries. In time it will grow and grow to be a large (virtual) collection.
